Press Release - Andrew Barfoot becomes a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Madison Park Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Andrew Barfoot, CFP® has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.  Mr. Barfoot has been a member of the MPCA team since May 2015, and has worked diligently since that time to meet the requirements put forth by the CFP Board. 

The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas:  the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.  CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.

Mr. Barfoot has a particular passion for working with young professionals in the wealth accumulation stage of their lives, helping them establish a mindset of living abundantly through smart, values-driven financial planning.  He will continue working alongside Jeff Mullen and Chris Featherstone, CFP®, ChFC, as well as Bill Reece, to provide service to the entire roster of Madison Park Capital Advisors clients.
