Andrew Barfoot, CFP®

COO, Financial Advisor

Andrew is a Partner and Financial Advisor. He finds particular joy in working with young professionals in the wealth accumulation stage of their lives, helping them establish a mindset of living abundantly through smart, values-driven financial planning.  In addition, he enjoys walking alongside those nearing or entering retirement, helping them put together the pieces that will enable them to enjoy this exciting (yet oftentimes daunting) phase of life. Andrew is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Prior to coming onboard with the firm, he spent the early years of his career as a small business executive. His most recent position was as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for an international aquaculture firm based out of the Seattle area. In his eight years in that role, he traveled well over 1 million miles to more than 45 countries around the globe.  His experience in closely-held businesses and merger & acquisition negotiations, as well as his international exposure, give him a unique and valuable perspective that he brings to the Madison Park team and our clients.

Andrew graduated with honors from University of Washington in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and International Business.  He also holds an MBA through the Leadership Executive MBA program at Seattle University, graduating at the top of his class in 2011.  He became a CFP® practitioner in 2017, and has served on the Board of the FPA of Puget Sound, chairing the annual Symposium for two years.

Andrew is married and resides in Seattle.  He and his family enjoy spending time in the outdoors gardening, hiking, golfing, and more, doing house projects, and participating in the life of their church. They are proud supporters of Seattle's Ronald McDonald House, and you can annually see Andrew and his boys donning kilts in the "Kilts of Kids" fundraiser supporting the great work of this organization. And they really love good food!
